HULA anthem, new husky, and the drowning place

This is Abby. She's our new foster dog. I wasn't too sure I liked her until tonight, because she hasn't really wanted to play much. However, tonight, Mommy Cate decided to take me to the drowning place. I told Abby what was about to happen - they were all in crates after eating dinner so they couldn't really come save me.

So Abby decided to help me the best way she could. She led the others in her best rendition of the HULA anthem.

Listen to it here. I was so PROUD!

Mommy Cate caught them, though, and drowned me anyways. Thankfully, I begged for my life enough that she stopped short of killing me.

I know it's been a while...

It's been pretty crazy here. Carmen moved in and had her puppy. He has no fur and we're only allowed to lick his toes, but he's still pretty cool. She brought Reece too, so there was lots of playing to be done. I also had to supervise the digging of the yard.

But I just wanted to share with you that my sweetheart, Echo, went to the rainbow bridge last week. I had a pretty rough time at first, because I was his girl, but now I'm getting better. The mommies have been making sure I eat and feel okay. They are pretty sad though, so I'm trying to do the same for them.

We all loved him very much. He was the best German Shepherd ever.

Love you Echo.

Kisses forever,

Your Dief.
